These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this website and the SmarterSafe USA web application (together, the "Service"), operated by SmarterSafe USA Inc ("SmarterSafe," "we," "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Who can use the Service

The Service is a business tool for restaurant and retail staff and owners. Accounts are created by SmarterSafe or by an authorized administrator at your employer; you may not create an account for anyone other than yourself, and you're responsible for keeping your username, password, and any device used to receive login codes secure.

Account login and verification codes

To help keep your account secure, logging in requires a password plus a one-time verification code, sent to the email address or mobile phone number on your account, whichever you choose.

• SMS consentIf you select "Text message" as your verification method, you consent to receive an SMS at that number containing a one-time login passcode.
• Message frequencyFrequency varies with how often you log in — you won't receive SMS from us outside of login attempts.
• Message and data ratesMessage and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
• Getting helpReply HELP to a code message, or contact us at hello@smartersafe.com, for support with SMS verification codes.
• Opting outYou can switch to email-based verification at any time, or reply STOP to a code message to stop future SMS to that number.

Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: share your login credentials or verification codes with anyone else; attempt to access accounts, stores, or data you're not authorized to see; interfere with or disrupt the Service; or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

Service availability

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but it's provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Hardware, network, or third-party provider issues (including email and SMS delivery) can occasionally delay or prevent access.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, SmarterSafe is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the effective date above when we do; continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for accounts that violate these Terms or when an employment/business relationship with SmarterSafe or the relevant store ends.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
